My name is Yogesh Thurasingham. I am 25 years old and I will be moving on from the Limes in July 2015. I have been coming to the Limes for a long time! It has supported me in lots of ways:
Having Fun– Activities are exciting. My favourite day was when I went clubbing with my friends. This is something I would not have felt confident to do without support. I had a great time and the DJ’s played great music too.

The Limes has shown me what I can do and never said I can’t do anything. The staff have helped me make decisions about my future.

They helped me start volunteering at Organiclea, a local plant nursery and I do this every week now. They have also supported me with lots of work tasters and a placement in Zest kitchen. I have got skills for life.

I have learnt to travel to new places independently. The Limes has helped me to feel more confident about exploring new places and using public transport.

I feel better about using money and more confident when out shopping.

Staff have given me support and advice for difficult things and they always listen to me.

I feel a bit anxious about leaving because I will miss the Limes. I want to tell more young people to come here. I hope The Limes is around for a long time to help others!
