Purpose of the job

The Creative Journeys Enterprise Manager (CJEM) is responsible for supporting the users of our Creative Journeys Project to exit the program with good employment or business development opportunities.  

Accountable to the CEO, you will lead and develop Sales and Business opportunities, working with Creative Journeys steering group and other stakeholders within the Limes staff team. 


The CJEM will be responsible to the CEO for the efficient management of user progression routes they will support the evaluation of the program and work to develop a strategic partnership to enhance relations with key stakeholders.

Main duties

Users and Creative Journeys Staff

  • Create and develop new initiatives and products to enable the team to deliver income growth and enhance our offering, in conjunction with the CEO and Income Generation officer
  • Monitor journey plans for young adults with LD through the service to assess key trends and pathways needed for success.
  • Develop resources for data collection with the staff team that are accessible to monitor and measure progress and test out the model
  • Develop pathways (working with partners) for users out of the project into gainful employment or self-employment
  • To help develop partnership, referral and signposting pathways
  • To co-ordinate and provide business start-up training, advice and mentoring.
  • To work with users to develop their marketing and sales skills including branding.
  • To support and monitor/evaluate user steering group meetings, guest speakers, research trips and visits


  • Work to recruit and develop terms of reference for the Creative Journeys Strategic forum.
  • Work with key decision makers to ensure their involvement in the partnership, recognising and mapping their needs
  • The auditing of administration and systems to ensure strategic meetings run smoothly with key actions/decisions so work moves forwards.
  • Map existing services, referral pathways and how Creative Journeys can help plug gaps in these
  • Present key findings from the project to the strategic board for decision making
  • Elevate the board into a working group with clear recommendations and pathways towards developing Creative Journeys as a local model

Public Sharing

  • In year two of the project to plan and develop a sharing for local agencies/regional bodies to learn from the key findings and develop next steps via workshops
  • To launch the research on line and link up with relevant policies/strategies and campaigns for equal employment rights
  • To work with staff/users to launch the learning of the project in a meaningful way for users and families


  • To become fully conversant with the philosophy, aims and objectives of The Limes working within agreed policies and procedures including health and safety procedures and anti-discriminatory practice.
  • To attend training, staff meetings and supervision as required.
  • To maintain confidentiality in relation to users, carers and staff.
  • To work outside of 9 – 5 hours and weekends by agreement and according to Services need.
  • Any other duties as may be specified by the CEO
