Normally we would be getting back in the swing of things, after the Winter break. Unfortunately, the Covid-19 pandemic has dispensed of all things normal – so instead, we have been implementing changes in response to the latest lockdown...
Do you have green-fingers and time on your hands?
Edible Forest Garden is a space on Mission Grove where disabled young people, age 16-25, learn about horticulture in preparation for employment. We really need volunteers to help us to maintain the garden – don't worry if you don't have the expertise, enthusiasm is all you need. Thursdays are preferable but we're happy to be flexible if that doesn't suit you.
If you would like to get involved and support an inspiring community project, it would be bloomin' marvellous!

Edible Forest is part of Creative Journeys, a programme designed to prepare young people with disabilities for employment.
This entrepreneurial scheme guides young people through the transition to adulthood and gets them ready to enter the world of work with confidence.
Throughout the 16 week journey, participants learn valuable life and employment skills through three strands: Zest Kitchen – Culinary, Edible Forest – Horticulture, Make & Create – Crafts
If you would like to know more about the Creative Journeys programme, feel free to get in touch with the team and they will be happy to give you more information. 02085098985 / firstname.lastname@example.org
