  • AGM Invitation, Charity AGM, Children's charity, Trustees, Agenda

We usually like to honour our AGM with a party to celebrate the year's achievements. This year, while we can't throw a party for you, we still have lots of exciting news to tell you.

Please join us on Zoom and find out about our reopening and phased return to services, plus all our plans for the coming year.

Life has changed for all of us, in the past six months, but The Limes is still committed to providing a safe, inclusive and fun space for the children and young people of Waltham Forest to enjoy some much needed play.

We would encourage all of our members to attend, we need your support more than ever.

Please RSVP to admin@thelimes.org.uk and a Zoom link will be emailed to you 24 hours before the meeting.

If you are unable to attend but would still like to vote on the resolutions, we have introduced a Proxy Voting Form  which you can find listed below the Agenda. See below.

We are so excited to see you all and we'll be wearing our brightest, razzle-dazzle colours to prove it. That's how happy we are!
We hope you'll do the same...

    Teenscheme (age 13-18)  10–14 & 24/25/26 August. 10am-3.30pm

Creative Journeys and Friends Empowered (age 18+). Dates on request.

Spaces are limited but we will do our best to accommodate you. To enquire, please email admin@thelimes.org.uk

If spaces are available, we will ask you to confirm the booking and make payment within 48 hours as, due to demand and limited spaces, we won’t be able to hold the space any longer.

Here are some of the new systems that will be in place when we reopen:

The temperature of each child/young person will be checked at the door and, if necessary, a socially distanced queue will be formed at the gates. Temperature readings will be contactless and will not be written down.

Pick up and drop off will take place at the gates. We will not be able to invite parents/carers into the centre.

There will be clear markings for social distancing and the children/young people will be introduced to the new systems on arrival.

PPE will be worn by all staff.

Face coverings will be available for the children/young people, on request.

Cleaning will take place before/after every session and regularly throughout the day.

Hand hygiene gel will be positioned at accessible points throughout the centre.

We have reduced the number of spaces for each service, to aid social distancing. We would advise you to book early.

We will provide you with further updates as the reopening date approaches.

If you would like to make an appointment with one of the managers to discuss the new health & safety measures, please email services@thelimes.org.uk and we will be happy to arrange this.

All the staff at The Limes are beyond excited at being able to welcome our wonderful Children & Young People back. While play may be a little different now, we will make sure it's still lots of fun. See you soon!
